Safety Information

• No Sparklers please. We know most people are sensible with them and can look after their own children, but there is alway someone who gets hurt! And disguarded sparkler sticks damage our mowers and can hurt the sheep and wildlife who graze the grass in the winter.
• Please bring a torch - the grass field is unlit and very dark
• Wellies are advisable on the grass and it s probably going to be slippy too - it is November after all.
• Please be careful around the Firepits and candles on site.

Event Information

• The gates will open from 5pm but festivities with our local food providers, activities and stalls will kick off at 5.30pm
• There will be music, food and drink in and around The Old Smokery
• The Bar will remain open after the display for Over 18s only 

Why is there no bonfire this year?
We feel that the huge carbon footprint a massive bonfire creates is now unsustainable. To create a spectacle last time, we had to buy perfectly good (dry) pallets to burn and this seems totally backwards in this day in age. It also leaves a huge hole full of waste metal work (screws and nails) which takes ages to clear up and regrow.

No ones perfect (let alone us)! and we will still be lighting many of our firepits across the site for people to enjoy, using the wood from trees we have felled at Far Peak over the year. But we hope the fireworks display will still be the highlight everyone enjoys and we can put on a display every year.

Arrival:
Please follow the marshals to a parking spot on the grass field, to the right of the driveway on the entrance. Once parked, show your ticket confirmation (on your phone is fine) to the guys on the gate. You will be given a wristband for entry.

Departure:
It will be a one way system, so please follow the marshals instructions and we will get everyone out as efficiently as possible.
