All first-time boulderers will be given a safety briefing by a member of staff before being allowed to boulder with us. The key points of this brief must be adhered to. Anyone found to be repeatedly breaking these safety rules will be asked to leave the centre and refunds will not be given:
- Climbers must climb down from the bouldering wall. No one is permitted to jump from the wall on to the mats.
- Climbers must give plenty of space to other climbers. Do not walk directly underneath other climbers, or climb directly next to them.
- If a climber reaches the top of the bouldering wall, they should not put their hands over the top of the wall or try to climb over the wall.
- Shoes must be kept on for climbing.
- Personal belongings should be kept in the storage boxes and not on the bouldering mats.
- Food and drink must not be taken on to the bouldering mats.
- Pockets must be empty when bouldering.
- All watches and jewellery should be removed when bouldering.
